I was a little apprehensive about going the last two times i have been there it has been awful and this time was no different. WHAT ARE THEY DOING AT THAT PLACE. Simple mistakes ruin what could have been lovely food it is such a shame. <br />Oh well as always when I have spare time I cook at home this week it was old spot pork belly braised in a saffron sauce, lovely i've done this befor nice served with calamari, balsamic butterbeans and some nice bread. Also Banoffee and Peanut Bread Pudding again delightfull served with a good vanilla ice cream.<br />Next week the xmas rush really does start but at least we already have our xmas tree up. <br />Our daughter Georgia helped decorate what she calls a 'houmous' tree BLESS HER!<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/94022092899370535-3116783300241687752?l=samueljrayner.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Samhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02616234602624057387noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-94022092899370535.post-49011470732439725082009-11-26T12:02:00.000Z2009-11-26T12:02:06.855ZI have terrible news about my business that has nearly left me hung out to dry.<br />I was targeted by fraudsters and have been conned out of nearly £5000<br />I was approached to cater for a buffet for 200 people with the supply of a large volume of alcohol.<br />All seemed very genuine, deposit paid into my account, loads of contact with the man.<br />He collected the alcohol by courier as I could not deliver myself and all seemed normal.<br />On Friday the 13th of all days I deliver the buffet in my hired van to the venue in Birmingham only to find another catering company there with exactly the same story.<br />The man had paid a fraudulent check into mine and their account and as a result it bounced and we both lost all the alcohol and had wasted more money and time preparing a buffet which was never even needed.<br />The police will never probably find this man and we will probably never recover any of the money.<br />Sorry to start the blog with bad news.<br />Got to get on with it, keep cooking and carry on as usual. <br />Heres to being more vigilant in the future.<br />Sam Rayner<br /><a href="http://www.dinnerpartychef.co.uk/">http://www.dinnerpartychef.co.uk/</a><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/94022092899370535-4901147073243972508?l=samueljrayner.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Samhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02616234602624057387noreply@blogger.com0
