Christmas Is Coming

I've had quite an easy week, not much work to do it's nice to have a little break befor the mad xmas rush.
I started this week off with a trip to the red lion at brafield with some friends. I was a little apprehensive about going the last two times i have been there it has been awful and this time was no different. WHAT ARE THEY DOING AT THAT PLACE. Simple mistakes ruin what could have been lovely food it is such a shame.
Oh well as always when I have spare time I cook at home this week it was old spot pork belly braised in a saffron sauce, lovely i've done this befor nice served with calamari, balsamic butterbeans and some nice bread. Also Banoffee and Peanut Bread Pudding again delightfull served with a good vanilla ice cream.
Next week the xmas rush really does start but at least we already have our xmas tree up.
Our daughter Georgia helped decorate what she calls a 'houmous' tree BLESS HER!
